My dance photoshoots are unique collaborative experiments; capturing a moment in time, a frozen second in the midst of a frenetic moment. I work closely with you to produce beautiful images that encapsulate your spirit.
My photoshoots are unlimited, which usually means we work together until we have what we need - for most people that’s between three and five hours. The first forty minutes of the session we’ll talk about what you’re looking for, designing moves, backdrops, and ideas for your shoot. If you have multiple outifts, bring them all! We can experiment to see what works best. At the end of the shoot we will sit down together and start the selection process - you might want to look through the images with a loved one, so I am happy to send you a viewing gallery. I'm very much a tight northerner who only spends money under extreme duress, but, and this is a very big “but”, I recognise genuine craft when I see it, and the brilliance with which Tom navigated the shoot was masterful. His attention to detail is beyond anything I’ve experienced. Combine that with his creative eye, technical excellence and easy-going manner, and it’s little wonder that this shoot generated the most powerful images I’ve ever had taken. It's by no means a 'given' that I walk away from a shoot with images I love, so walking away with an initial shortlist of 50+ (and buying 25) is somewhat unthinkable.
The brief was meticulously fulfilled, and frankly, exceeded.
