BUSINESS HEADSHOTS ARE CHANGING - NICK AND ALI
Something I’ve noticed when working with my business clients is that the corporate headshot is changing. Maybe it’s an effect of everyone being increasingly online these days, or its that more and more people have started their own business. But, no one is satisfied with just a simple headshot as the standalone image for their personal branding. Increasingly, clients such as Nick and Ali here, are willing to think bigger with their own image. And as photographers we have to rise to the challenge.
Both Nick and Ali work in the personal improvement and business coaching space, so it makes sense they want images that stand out from their competitors. The advantage of these kinds of headshots is clear, especially in such a competitive market as coaching. All businesses are part of the attention economy; whether we like it or not, we compete for attention and first impressions count. How we appear online will have a huge impact on the growth of our businesses.
I loved this session working with these two super interesting people. They had travelled up from Lewes to visit me in my London studio and our afternoon together was full of warmth and laughter - which wasn’t echoed in the weather outside as London was entering winter proper. They came away with almost 30 incredible images that I know will help them in their endeavours.
